Construction Software Development
Construction software has to work on a site with no reliable signal, in gloves, in daylight — and produce a record precise enough to stand up when a project is disputed months later.

Constraints specific to construction
The problems that shape software here, and that generic engineering tends to discover late.
Sites have no dependable connectivity
Basements, steel structures and remote locations all defeat mobile data. Software that assumes a connection simply is not used, and paper fills the gap.
The record has to survive a dispute
Delay and variation claims turn on what was recorded, when and by whom. Timestamps, authorship and immutability carry legal weight rather than just operational value.
Every project is a different organisation
Contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams change per project, with access requirements that shift as trades come and go.
Documents are the currency and they version constantly
Drawings, specifications and RFIs revise continuously, and someone working from a superseded revision is a genuine safety and cost risk.
Software we build for construction
Offline-first site applications
Inspection, snagging and progress capture that works fully without a connection and synchronises when the device returns to coverage.
Document and drawing control
Revision control with clear supersession, so the current issue is unambiguous and the history remains auditable.
Project controls and reporting
Programme, cost and progress tracking that reconciles site reality with the plan rather than reporting the plan back.
Multi-party access management
Per-project, per-organisation permissions that can be granted and revoked as trades mobilise and leave.
Standards that apply to software in this sector
What the software has to be built to satisfy. Which of these apply to you depends on your jurisdiction, your data and your customers.

These are the standards we design and build to meet. Certification or attestation of your organisation is a separate exercise, carried out by a qualified assessor — we can support that process with documentation and evidence, but we do not certify it.

The service lines this sector most often needs.
Mobile App Development
Native and cross-platform iOS and Android apps, built for real network conditions rather than office Wi-Fi.
Custom Software Development
Bespoke systems shaped around your operations, integrated with the tools and data you already run on.
Cloud & DevOps
Migration, deployment automation and infrastructure on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, built to be operated.
Data Analytics & Engineering
Pipelines, warehousing and reporting built so the numbers reconcile and people act on them.
Construction: common questions
Something specific to your operation?
Send it over — sector questions are the ones we most like getting.
Ask us01
Will it work on site with no signal?
That is the design premise rather than a feature. The application holds its data locally and functions completely offline; synchronisation happens when the device regains coverage, with conflicts resolved deliberately rather than last-write-wins — which matters when two people inspect the same area.
02
Can you integrate with BIM or our project management tools?
Yes, where those tools expose an interface. ISO 19650 information management practice shapes how document and model data is structured, and most established project management platforms provide an API for the transactional side.
03
How do you handle evidence for delay or variation claims?
By making the record append-only and attributable: entries carry a timestamp, an author and, where the device supplies it, a location, and they are not editable after the fact. Corrections are recorded as corrections rather than overwriting the original, which is what makes the record usable in a dispute.
04
How do subcontractor access and permissions work?
Scoped per project and per organisation, so a trade sees only the areas and documents relevant to their package, and access can be revoked when they demobilise without disturbing the record they created.
