We build scalable software across web, mobile and TV — and the cloud, data and AI systems behind it. We started in 2016 with a narrow ambition: ship dependable software, on time, with few enough defects that clients notice. Most of what we do now grew out of clients asking us to keep going.

Ten years, in order

Every year since founding, and what changed in it. The progression from building apps to engineering products was gradual and client-driven rather than a repositioning.

    The beginning

    CharPixel Technologies was founded to build dependable, high-quality software that solves real problems. From the start the focus was intuitive mobile and web applications backed by solid engineering.

  2. 2017

    Building trust through quality

    Early projects earned client trust by shipping stable, production-ready software on time. An emphasis on clean code and rigorous testing established a reputation for minimal post-launch issues.

  3. 2018

    Beyond mobile and web

    We entered the TV application ecosystem, delivering for Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV — a surface few teams build for, and one that opened up media and entertainment clients.

  4. 2019

    End-to-end product development

    Full-stack capability deepened around Node.js and Angular, and the engagement model shifted: we began operating as an extended engineering arm rather than a project vendor.

  5. 2020

    Engineering for scale

    Amid global disruption we delivered mobile-first platforms through fully remote collaboration, with the focus moving to performance and scalability under rising user demand.

  6. 2021

    Scaling operations

    35+ clients and 50+ projects completed. Refined delivery processes and stronger project management let the company scale without loosening quality standards.

  7. 2022

    Driving innovation

    Past 65 completed projects. Hackathons and internal R&D reinforced a culture of experimentation alongside client delivery.

  8. 2023

    Recognition and community

    The team won a software hackathon organised by the AMU Machine Learning Club, and involvement in technical communities and skill-development initiatives grew.

    75+ clients served worldwide. With growing market maturity the work shifted toward robust architectures and complex systems aligned to long-term business goals.

    Product-first mindset

    We moved beyond execution into product-led engineering for fintech, trading and SaaS clients — taking on product strategy, UX optimisation and scalable system design.
